With less than 6 months to go for NEET 2020, it is time that we start focusing on the crucial points for the exam. As mentioned in All You Need to Know About NEET 2020 –
“NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is the entry-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission to undergraduate courses in the field of medicine, like MBBS and BDS.”
All You Need to Know About NEET 2020
Earlier, the examination was only conducted for certain colleges and universities in the country, however, a notification by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed that NEET 2020 will also be applicable for all Institutes of National Importance like AIIMS. This notification was brought about in accordance with the recently introduced National Medical Commission.
With the formalization of NEET as the only entrance examination for MBBS, it is expected that it would bring about uniformity in the medical education system as all students taking admission to medical courses will be judged based on a uniform standard. Additionally, it would reduce the financial burdens of filling multiple forms for multiple exams.
NEET 2020 will be conducted with three core sections – Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
